Rhode Island Reds lay 5–6 large brown eggs per week. They are hardy & easy to raise – Great for beginners or experienced keepers. They are a dual-purpose heritage breed – Excellent for both eggs and meat.

Effective immediately, chicks will only be hatched for customer orders that are pre-ordered and prepaid.
To help ensure availability, we will set more eggs than the number of chicks ordered so that customers receive at least the quantity requested whenever possible. If additional chicks hatch beyond your order, those extras may be offered to you at no additional charge.
In the event that fewer chicks hatch than originally ordered, customers may choose between:
A refund for the unavailable chicks, or Rolling the remaining balance over to a future hatch
This change allows us to hatch more responsibly and avoid raising excess chicks without confirmed homes already in place.
